Rudlings Solicitors LLP are pleased to introduce their new dispute resolution department based at their Thetford Office, offering quality legal advice and assistance across a wide range of contentious issues, affecting you, your family and your business.
Whilst based at Thetford, Marcus Louise and Team can offer appointments in Bury St Edmunds, Brandon and at Rudlings new office in Norwich, or, of course by remote means such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
Our Dispute Resolution Department can draw on the experience and assistance of our colleagues from our commercial, conveyancing, family law and private client departments, adopting a collaborative approach at the earliest stage of an issue arising or with a view to minimise the likelihood of contentious issues arising to ensure that whatever course you take via litigation, or alternative dispute resolution you will have the best possible opportunity to succeed.
We can provide detailed budgets, risk assessments updates to help you to project manage and predict litigation costs effectively and utilise all possible avenues for determining your dispute.
Marcus is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team based at our office in Thetford, having spent the previous 10 years at firms in West Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, as both Senior Associate and Partner.
Marcus qualified as a Solicitor in 2003, having previously qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Executives in 1996.

Notable previous instructions involve acting for infant claimants in a class action against Addenbrookes Hospital during the Miles Bradbury child abuse litigation, and diversely, acting within a mixed commercial and disputes team for a Formula 1 engine manufacturer in a number of disputes with Formula 1 teams concerning purported engine performance issues.
Marcus undertakes instructions on licensing, intellectual property disputes; defamation, professional negligence actions, building and construction disputes and is a keen advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution in its various forms.
Away from the office, Marcus enjoys watching rugby both at amateur and professional level, having retired from playing for his local team as hooker, when the pain became more than the gain!
Marcus has 2 teenage children and most of his free time is spent as an unpaid taxi service. When time allows Marcus enjoys long walks with his 2 spaniels. Marcus’ wife and daughter both ride horses and apart from being an unpaid taxi driver, Marcus’s skills are utilised as an unpaid stable hand.
