Job Specification

The Role: – As a Paralegal or legal secretary, you will be working alongside an experienced team. A desire to learn, develop and work as part of a busy team will be essential for this role. Ideally you will have previous experience with;

  1. Commercial matters such as grants of new leases for Landlords and Tenants, Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases, Property refinances, SME mergers and acquisitions.
  1. Attending to any office administration requested such as dealing with post, filing, file opening/closures, and keeping the file up to date using a case management system.
  2. Completing online searches, applications and forms with companies such as HM Land registry.
  3. Preparing draft documents, invoices, and correspondence.
  4. Dealing with client queries wherever possible, assisting the team with taking and making telephone calls, whether with clients or other professionals.
  5.  Support Fee earners to progress all matters proactively, with potential to manage own caseload under supervision as the role develops.

Person Specification

  4. The ability to work as part of a team
  5. A positive, can-do attitude in a pressurised environment
  6. In a busy team it is imperative that you are result orientated
