Ruth first joined the firm in 1991 as secretary to Tim O’Regan. She subsequently undertook the Institute of Legal Executives examinations and qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of the Legal Executives in 2002.

Ruth specialises in children matters to include contact and residence cases, prohibited steps and specific issue matters and removal from the jurisdiction to include urgent court applications.  Ruth also specialises domestic violence and urgent applications for injunctions and occupation orders.   Ruth accepts instructions from both privately paying and legal aid clients.   Her case load covers both local courts and the High Court in London.   Ruth is now representing parents in child protection cases.

Ruth is a member of Resolution and has been an accredited specialist in domestic abuse and children matters since January 2008.
