Kerri Westlake is a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Family Law.  Kerri’s particular specialisms are in divorce/finance as well as children act proceedings.   Kerri is experienced in asset protection and business re-structure and valuation on divorce.  

Kerri has a close working relationship with Women’s Aid and understands the intricacies of domestic abuse and its impacts on families and relationships.  Kerri was instructed in the case of JM v MF [2020]. Which involved fact finding concerning allegations of domestic abuse and serious sexual assault. It lead to the retraining of family judges in factfinding concerning sexual assault to meet the same standards as their criminal judge counterparts.  In accordance with PD12J.

Kerri is a strong advocate and as a member of Resolution she follows a code of practice that is designed to promote constructive solutions to the breakdown of a marriage or a family.  Kerri undertakes mediation* as well as acting jointly for parities who are looking to resolve the breakdown of their relationship together. 

Kerri is a wife and mother and spends her free time running a busy household with the occasional spare moment to take time for herself.
