Rudlings Solicitors LLP are actively seeking a Legal Secretary/Paralegal, to be based in our new Norwich office working with the Head of Department and Family Team. This position is a maternity cover role.

Job Specification

The Role: – You will have the ability to manage a varied caseload of private family law matters. You will have knowledge of:-

  1. Family matters such as Divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships and separation, Financial and property settlements, Arrangements for children, Pre-nuptial, and cohabitation agreements etc
  2. Attend to any office administration requested such as dealing with post, filing, file opening/closures, and keeping the file up to date on our case management system.
  3. Preparing draft documents, invoices, and correspondence.
  4. Dealing with client queries wherever possible, assisting the team with taking and making telephone calls, as well as with Counsel and the Courts.
  5. Support Fee earners to progress all matters proactively

Person Specification

 The successful candidate will have:

  4. The ability to work as part of a team
  5. A positive, can-do attitude in a pressurised environment
  6. In a busy team it is imperative that you are result orientated
