Family Law – How we can help you during Covid-19

During these unprecedented times our family law experts are still here to advise and assist you, remotely in accordance with Government guidelines.

We can offer our expertise, advice and new appointments by Phone, Skype, Zoom video conferencing, WhatsApp and Facebook. Face to face appointments cannot take place for safety reasons.

Lockdown within a household, especially where there are children of school age, can make sensitive and confidential communications with your legal adviser extremely difficult.  To overcome this, we can offer you appointments and provide advice at hours to suit you, 7 days a week, dealing with all areas of family law, including the following: –

  • Arrangements for the care of the children
  • Divorce and financial matters
  • Separation and financial matters – you can still be separated even if you live under the same roof
  • Emergency injunctions in domestic abuse situations
  • Cohabitation

Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) are also still available remotely to assist with family disputes.

Family courts are still operating with court hearings taking place remotely via Skype, Zoom and other remote/virtual means.  Courts are prioritising urgent family matters concerning children and domestic abuse injunctions.

If you need general family law advice concerning your options or need to make an urgent court application, have a hearing date fixed or have recently been served with court papers we will be able to advise you throughout the process.
