From 1 April 2013 huge cuts and changes to public funding (legal aid) are being implemented. Individuals who have been subjected to domestic abuse will now need to provide evidence when they apply for public funding. A schedule of the evidence that is acceptable is contained at Regulation 33 of The Civil Legal Aid (Procedure) Regulations 2012.
